BUMA

The Rust workspace underneath DUO: focused crates for entity state, memory, goals, tools, skills, orchestration and interfaces.

BUMA gives DUO a composed software boundary. Capabilities are implemented as named services and crates rather than a monolithic agent process.

System boundary

A named part of a larger runtime.

Shared types, events, validation and bootstrap logic keep the runtime legible at the boundary between components.

Persistent context, priorities and progress are explicit system concerns instead of incidental prompt state.

Tools, subagents and plan pipelines are registered and delegated through inspectable interfaces.
