Visual authoring model
Scenes, behavior and game rules are expressed through structured objects rather than free-form generated instructions.
A complete visual system for building 2D games without writing code or relying on generative AI.
What is real today
Ludomata is a deterministic visual authoring system for complete 2D games. People build logic through an editor rather than writing code, while the project produces ordinary, inspectable GDScript instead of trapping the game inside a proprietary runtime.
ClickKit is the Godot editor and interaction layer inside Ludomata. The larger project includes the authoring model, deterministic generation, project structure and the rules that keep visual edits and generated code synchronized.
The goal is not to replace authorship with generation. It is to make authored game logic accessible without making the result mysterious or disposable.
System shape
The interface is friendly, but the underlying translation stays deterministic and reviewable.
Scenes, behavior and game rules are expressed through structured objects rather than free-form generated instructions.
The complete Godot-facing interface makes the system feel native to the engine instead of bolted on.
The same authored state produces the same full GDScript, making output diffable and reproducible.
Generated files remain connected to their visual source so the project can continue evolving without a one-way export.
Current evidence
Ludomata is built to leave people with understandable source and an ordinary engine workflow, not dependency on a black box.
Generation
Authored logic maps to repeatable GDScript rather than probabilistic suggestions.
Editor
ClickKit is an integrated creation surface inside Godot, not a disconnected prototype UI.
Ownership
Projects keep complete engine-native code that can be inspected and maintained.
Scope
The intended system covers game structure, not only isolated behaviors or visual scripting snippets.
Operating principles
The system expands who can author logic without inventing it for them.
Repeatable generation makes projects maintainable.
The result is GDScript inside Godot, not a sealed runtime.
Interaction design receives the same care as code generation.
